Welcome to Stockley Hill Farm and Stockley Fold.

Run by Peter and Sue Smith, Stockley Hill Farm is home to Stockley Fold pedigree highland cattle. 130 acres nestled in the heart of the beautiful rural countryside of Herefordshire, the Fold is the pride of the Smith family, with three generations involved in the care and animal welfare of the cattle.

Peter and Sue bought their first Highland cows in 2010 and currently have a fold of around 35.

"We chose Highland cattle because they are low maintenance, have a good temperament and live outside all year. We started in 2010 with five pure bred suckler calves, which were bought from the Highland Cattle Society sale of Oban and the following year we bought a young stock bull from Glengorm of Mull."

"Our aim is to improve the breed standard of the suckler cows by keeping their good traits and eliminating faults, such as poor feet, udders, and looking for high breed standards."
